The Northern Territory Chamber of Commerce has been working with the business community ever since its establishment in 1957. Since this time, the Chamber has continually strived to develop first class services that assist industry with relevant and practical business solutions.
The Northern Territory Chamber of Commerce is currently Central Australia’s peak employer organisation, supporting approximately 1,600 businesses across all branches of industry. As one of the best developed and strongest regional-wide business networks, the Northern Territory Chamber of Commerce endeavours to promote its presence within the Territory, so that it may work with as many local businesses as possible to encourage sustainable growth and prosperity within the business sector.
Its diverse and far-reaching service profile is made possible due to the Chamber’s presence in Darwin, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Katherine and East Arnhem Land. The strategic positioning of each office allows for excellent representation throughout the Northern Territory.
Acknowledging the importance of regional Australian industry, the Chamber’s offices throughout the Territory are an integral part of ensuring that the interests of local businesses are being represented. The Chamber’s regional managers and committee members act on behalf of the region on local committees, and exercise an influential voice in lobbying the government regarding their decisions.
The Chamber of Commerce NT is a foundation member of the Australian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and recently, a foundation member of the Australian Chamber Alliance (ACA).
